A/N: if this makes no sense, it's because I'm high.
With shaking hands, she plaited her wet hair. No one was home with her this late at night; they all had other friends to go to. Swallowing another pill, she collapsed onto her unmade bed and shut her eyes in an attempt to block out the darkness that she could swear was coming alive. It was too late for her, way too late. She felt nothing, spoke nothing, was nothing. Somehow, that realization didn't hurt like she thought it would have. Curling into a ball, she closed her eyes and tried to think of happier times, but none came to mind. Her limbs began to unfold; she had no control over them anymore. Her eyes, she couldn't open her eyes, couldn't close her mouth. Reality was slipping away from her and she didn't fight it. Utterly still blackness enveloped her and as she followed the well-beaten path to death, she wondered who would find her....
