Death Note OST: Mello

Funny enough, I do think the music n Death Note fits Mello perfectly. All of it, but his themes seem to have a pretty neat connection to the character. None of these themes are monotone, and they are even a bit chaotic or violent, just like Mello; they play around, they try to rise into a harsh pace, tone down only for few moments before surprising you again. And if it's a calmer pace, you can hear still on the background, the existence of another tone trying to rise.

It starts softly and mysterious, maybe a bit evil on the side, but like something you don't know how it'll end. And rises up to a violent pace with the guitar and drums; just before that moment it's almost as if it calms down like to prepare you for something unexpected, only to continue again. It it's has a rhythmic pace, though, even if it looks so chaotic at the end, until it finally dies.

This one looks like a preparation for war. The drums, and the slow rising of the guitar, and suddenly there is an almost soft and low sound, yet still heard in the middle of everything, like it's still there, watching.

The most chaotic of the three themes. It's pretty much a mess if you hear it right. It has a rhythmic drum pace, but the electric guitar just plays around, rising its tone or even looking a bit out of place. Until it just finds the right tone and plays right into a calmer tempo, yet still rhythmic; the guitar rises again to follow its pace once more and finally dies with a tiny shriek many people would forget about.
