Do I cut for spoilers on a book that's been out for two years?

So you know how some people are all "I'm awesome" about not being spoiled for a series? Well, I have someone who puts them all to shame.

I was talking with my older brother today about Harry Potter today, and guess what? He hasn't read the seventh book yet. Now, I wasn't all that impressed due to his reputation for being a slow reader, but then he gave this revelation: he has no idea what happens. The only things he's been spoiled on are that there are three Deathly Hallows and that at some point in the book, and Neville is awesome. That's it. The only explanation for this lack of knowledge would be hiding in a cave for the past two years, but I've seen him around, so that's not the answer.

When you put into consideration that this is an internationally famous series with millions of fans, he lives with people who have read the book, and he owns two copies of the book in question, this is an impressive feat. It's funny because he was so excited about the sixth movie; he was probably the only person in the entire theater-heck, the world- who doesn't know what happens next.

He's waiting for our trip to the beach in a couple weeks to read it, so he will find out soon, but it's hilarious that it's taken this long.
