Wimbledon Woes
Dear NBC,
I would like to complement you on your coverage of the Murray/Roddick semi-final match. Thanks for letting us know that what you're broadcasting has been previously recorded. However, I have one small problem with this: the match is still going on. In fact, it's looking to be a pretty intense match up, as tennis goes, with multiple tie breakers and the like. So, my question is: why can't I see this match LIVE?
Now, I know you have a hit-and-miss history when it comes to sports coverage(Exhibit A: the all-encompassing coverage of Olympics vs. switching to 2 hours of Kentucky Derby pre-show right after the Caps game), but even I think this needs to be reevaluated. After all, I shouldn't have to switch to ESPN just to see how the match I am currently watching is going. Hopefully you will fix this in time for the finals.
