Mirai walked slowly on the beach. The sun reflected on the sea-surface, and the orange-red waves rippled still. The fresh breeze blowed her black hair. She looked back. Her beloved classmates, Mariya, Umika, Irie, Yuto, Chinen, Kamiki, and Suzuka were playing around there. She smiled warmly. She sat on the white sands, letting her white feet swept by the water. She looked back again. She knew that he wasn't there. She closed her eyes, and some memories about him appeared in her thoughts.
Orenji iro somaru akizora ga kirei sugiru kara
Kono kokoro ni itaku shimiwataru
Kore ijou nai kurai setsunaku naru yo
They looked at the beautiful crimson sky above them. Its shines reflected on the small-river surface. He looked at her, gave a warm and charming smile. Mirai just embarassed, her cheeks became so red. He giggled, and held her hands tightly. He put her hands on his chest, letting her to feel his heart-beats. Mirai looked at his face. It became serious. His bright eyes looked at her eyes deeply. She widened her eyes, and she felt her heart was beating so fast, like him.
Mada nan nichi mo tattenai na no ni zuibun mukashi no you
Omokage sagashi omoide no basho ni kyou mo kite shimatta you
She opened his eyes. She knew that he wasn't there anymore. That memories was about 3 years ago, but it felt like yesterday. She wanted to repeat those memories again, and spinned the time.

Suddenly her tears fell down on her red cheeks. She wiped it, and tried to stop crying. But she can't. She sniffed, and held her precious locket tightly. Yes, that locket was from him.

They were in Okinawa, sat at the beach side by side. They looked at the sunset, with hands tied each other. Then he put something from his pocket. A red box. She looked at it, thinking what's it. He told her to closed her eyes for a while. She nodded. She closed her eyes, and he wore something on her neck. She opened her eyes. It's a necklace, no, a locket. She opened it, and there was a small picture of them. She looked at him, and smiled.

Wakareru sukoshi mae made suki da to itte kurete ita no ni
Her black eyes filled with tears again. She knew that he never came back to her side. She looked back, and saw her friends were preparing some fireworks on the sand. She imagined that he was there, smiling and laughing together. Fireworks? She remembered something. A special moment with him.

It's summer 2007. Mirai went to classmate's villa at the hill, to made a small garden night party. One of her friend invited they all to go to the back yard, and when she arrived there, there were many fireworks on the sky. She can saw a beautiful starry night, stained with fireworks and lamplights from the town. She smiled. Then suddenly someone hugged her from the back. It was him. He whispered something to her ears, leaned his chin on her shoulder. She smiled and blushed to hear his words. I love you. Just 3 simple words that made her heart beat faster. She looked back, and faced him. Then she felt his breath blow on her face, and suddenly he pressed his lips onto hers. I promise that I won't leave you forever. He whispered it, and he hugged her tightly.
Mou ichido mou ichido dake
Kimi no nukumori ni furerareta nara
1 May 2008. He must to went abroad, because his parents had a business work in United States. She accompanied him to went to the airport. Her face was pale, and she never smiled that day. They stopped at the waiting area, and sat. He looked at her face, thinking about her condition that time. Actually, she had a bad feeling about it. But he promised that he'll came back to Japan before their birthday. He convinced her that he'll be allright. She looked at him, and smiled.
It's 10 am, time for his flight took off. He stood up, and hugged her. He kissed her forehead, held her hands tightly. Her bright eyes looked at his hazel brown eyes, like it said don't leave me, Ryo. He smiled and kissed her. He walked to the gate number 10 and stopped at the entrance. He looked back and waved his hands. She nodded. Then he smiled, and continued his walk to his flight. She closed her eyes, and prayed for his safety.
20 minutes later, the flight had taken off, and she walked to the parking area. Suddenly she heard an explosion-sound on the sky, and she looked at it. Her eyes widened. There was a big chaos at the airport. She ran quickly to information center and asked about that explosion-sound came from.The officer called someone, and told her that the flight to US was hijacked. She shocked. She knelt down, and screamed. Her tears fell down, and she called his name many times. She didn't believe that her precious one had gone that fast. Why this accident happened to you? And what about your promise that you won't leave me?

She cried again. Her tears drenched on her knees. She wanted to see his smile and feel his warm hands.Then Suzuka and Mariya ran approached her. Mariya hugged her, Suzuka held her hands. Mirai screamed, then Kamiki, Yuto, Chinen, Umika, and Irie ran into her. They tried to calm her down, and sat around her. Finally Mirai can stopped her tears, and sobbed on Mariya's shoulder. Umika stroked her hair, and the other told her that she's not alone. They convinced Mirai that he's happy at somewhere. Mirai nodded weakly. She held her locket, and opened it again. Then she saw something slipped under their little picture, it's a small notes. She opened it, and read it.
Wherever I am, I'll always in your heart.
