So tonight on the SkyTrain i witness this chick suddenly just vomit up all this orange puke, onto herself and the floor of the train.... Everyone start scoffing at her, and i too rolled my eyes and thought, 'really?!...really?'
Then an asian lady sitting one seat away form the puke girl, gets up, hand her a package of kleenex, and goes to sit on a seat farther away...
Then i think, wow that was nice of her...man, why didn't i think of that? I'm just an asshole like all the rest....(although i never had any kleenex to give anyways, but that wasn't the point)
Puke girl slowly wipes some puke off her knee with the kleenex and then later sheepishly looks up and around, and then to no one in particular says, sorry....
Then she stumbled off the train like 2 stops later (Maybe she was drunk?).... I overheard some lady saying, "where is that girl's friend or something?! geeez...."
Yeah, no shit. It's easy to get annoyed, but then again, you never know the person's circumstances... Anyways, i realized i want to be a nicer person, and not just scoff at people. Vancouver is bad for that, or at least has been for me. So many homeless rude and/or aggressive people, sometimes they almost demand money, or to give more money then what someone offered... it's made me become more and more desensitized... It's not a good thing.
Although i don't think there is anything wrong with getting angry and fed up with the rude annoying homeless who relentlessly ask for money, i gotta be careful not to treat everyone that way... Sometimes i'm accidentally rude to people who are just trying to ask for directions...whoops.
