I'm not familiar with Reks, although breyzyyin gave a fantastic explanation... so I'm going to go with Yuna.

Like Yuna, you come across as deeply caring and gentle, and you seem to take responsibility on your shoulders more often than not - like how you say you'd save the world because it was depending on you. It also matches with how you tend to over-think things; Yuna's constantly trying to be alone with her thoughts, especially once she starts having a crisis of faith; she needs to think things through calmly. She is, like you, not the kind of person who'd control people, and as a summoner, she would definitely share your sentiment about humanity.

Your note about confidence also reminds me of her - she's drawn to Tidus, who is cheerful, optimistic and definitely confident, and who buoys her spirits up immensely when she's down. "The world is definitely a beautiful place" is, again, something she would agree with; you see her commenting on how beautiful the scenery is everywhere you go - she's always wondering at the world and at the new things she experiences. Your comment about not wanting to say anything awkward in social situations could also apply to her - everyone remembers her less as Yuna and more as "High Summoner Braska's daughter"; she's under a lot of pressure to appear to live up to her father's name, and I can see her wanting to live up to it as well, hence a certain degree of awkwardness and formality in social situations.

Lastly, despite her very gentle nature, your "kill or be killed" answer actually does fit. As self-sacrificial as she is (as all the summoners in FFX are, really), she's willing to stand up for her friends and she's willing to fight back when necessary - for example, the time when she was kidnapped by Al Bhed? While her guardians do bust the place down looking for her, by the time they find her, you see a bunch of groaning Al Bhed and a completely unhurt Yuna, who admits that she did hurt them. A little. So she's more than willing to act in self-defense, and she isn't helpless, either, despite her wanting to work with her friends as a team the way you said you do. (:
