What a busy week it's been. At least I have some time to myself today. I've been going to work and school started on Thursday. Luckily for me it was only one class at 2:00 P.M.
It's been a busy week for me so far. I don't even remember the last time I was this busy, if ever. Since last Sunday, I've been having to do stuff, and I guess I can thank the fact that I'm employed and a useful member of society now. That may or may not come to bite me in the ass.
I went to training on Sunday which was suppose to lst from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. but I ended getting out of there early since the district manager didn't want to keep everyone there too long. How nice of him. My first day of work started on Tuesday and it's strange but they already re-located me beofer I even so much as walked into a building. I got the call about two or three hours after I was expected to be in. I was suppose to work at the same office that
angelus_xx works at but, just as my luck would have it, I didn't get to work at his office and now I have to figure things out from a whole bunch of people I don't even know. At least if I was working with Jeff, he could have told me who to look out for and helped with making the transition a little easier. It doesn't help when one is incredibly shy. I haven't really had any real conversations outside of saying "[INSERT PERSON'S NAME HERE], Line 2!" or "Can you log in for me because my number isn't working yet." I've made some nice talk with the receptionist who works before I do and one guy who doesn't have a problem talking to anybody. Besides that, nothing too serious. I got some people asking about my name, though, so there's a start. I hate my shyness, I really do. I think it's getting better though because I'm pretty much forced to interact.
It's been ok so far but seeing as how people are starting to get their W-2s now, it's starting to get a little busy. =\ I hope I can handle it. I may need to adjust my work schedule since school has started and I know my parents will get on my case if I'm working too many weeknights. All about prioritizing, I suppose.
