I can't wait for my music class to be over. I just have one more class on Tuesday and then the final and I'm done. The professor can be a bit much for me sometimes. And, in my opinion, it seems as though he has the assumption that the students in his class have a bit more advanced knowledge of music. Sadly, there are the musically challenged in the class and I guess it never occurred to him that it may be possible to have a student or two in the class. May 25th isn't going to come fast enough.

I had to attend a professional concert or recital and have to write a paper for it due on the 17th. I wanted to go to one that was close to the date the paper is due so it stays fresh in my head. Little did I know that I would have two other papers to hand in that day as well. =| Is it me or do teachers know how to when to assign papers on the same day other classes have you focusing on doing a paper? At this point in my life, I refuse to believe that it is just mere coincidence. The performance was nice, despite my being late (thanks to my parents, of course. Apparently I wasn't "dressed appropriately" for the performance. Turns out it was a fairly casual affair). It also got pretty dramatic. Shortly after I arrived, some lady fainted and ended up hitting her head on something and had nice big gash on the side of her head. From the sounds of the waiters and people coming to see the show, it seems the lady came alone. The EMT had to come and take her on a gurney and from what I heard there was a lot of blood on the floor. I just thought someone fell out their chair. You know, too much alcohol or not having a lot of balance or something. When the EMTs were taking her away, it was then that she realized her head was bleeding. Wow. I wonder what it was that she hit her head against. After she was taken away, I heard a male waiter say that he's not cleaning up the blood because he doesn't "get paid enough to do this." Ah, the age-old excuse. Somehow, everyone uses that excuse, even if they get paid $1 million a day. I'm sure Donald Trump or Bill Gates has said that at some point in their successful careers. Hopefully, the lady will be ok. The performance was short, thankfully because it was already late and I didn't want to be all the way downtown by myself. Lucky for me the train was right there as well as the bus.

I need summer vacation to start now. I know I'll be bored because, as of right now, I have no job, but I could use the break. At least for a little while anyway, especially from school. I'm never taking any kind of art class again. It's just not my thing. Never has been, really.
