One down...

I'm finally done with my essay. I'm nervous because I'm done with but it was really about time. Now I need to bug everyone I know to be give it a once, twice, thrice over. Anyone here interested? *sweet smile*

Now the other thing is to figure out how to get some money for the applications. Luckily I found that I have been stashing a bit of money in my wallet and purse. Yay for safe keeping and being stingy. The only problem I have is that two of the public city schools are asking for $125 application fee. That's more than the private schools are asking for. Lame! I guess that's where the job portion comes in. Also, bothering people for the recommendation letters. One pain in the ass down, 847581948756273 more to go. Double lame! Thank goodness I got a check from my credit card money because my bank account could use it. It will allow me to get the transcripts. It's not too expensive, thankfully. Only good thing is that the two schools asking for $125 will be free to send the transcripts to.

Hm, I just remembered I have e-mail notices about scholarships. I guess I have to get on that too.

If anything, this being unemployed thing is giving me quite a bit of time to get this stuff done. Still, I need to get myself employed. I feel so...useless sitting at home all day. Everyone's gone back to school and work. It's kind of ok because of all the snow and ice and slush on the ground is so irritating. Hopefully spring gets here soon because the weather is getting to me and not just because of the precipitation.
