I'm thinking about playing Second Life on my laptop, since I haven't had the chance to play the Sims on here. Not to mention I want to test out my graphics card on here. Since I don't have the base game for the Sims here with me, I think this would help me see what I'd be working with. I've slo seen a few people talking about it and I'm finding

Second Life can be totally useless fun. I sign in sporatically always hoping it'll be cooler than it is, but it can be amusing when you're really really bored. The only thing I truly hate is the money system - you need pretend money which can be transferred to real money to buy all the shineys. And I don't have time to get a job in a fictional world, I need one in the real world! luckily I somehow have managed to get a lot of freebies from the hardcore people. I have no idea why, maybe they think my avatar is pretty? (It's such a ridic premise, the whole thing... heh.)

long story short, if you do sign up, we can "hang out" together there.

also, sorry about the internship. Keep looking and don't discourage, something will come up if you persevere!
