I know this is not the last but I know this will be a long, long vacation for all of us and for this I wave goodbye to you for now. Because after this long, long vacation is over and though our roads depart its ways, these roads shall meet and finally I can wave to you "HELLO"
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And for this I am never, ever the same.
To you two who I've been with in this most cherished high school life, I will always remember you and our unforgettable experiences of laughs (mostly giggles), cries (especially to me), frustrations and depressions (I can say all of us), shortcomings, misunderstandings, insecurities (insert cuss words here), and a lot more. I will never forget the days we've spent together laughing and the meaningful conversations especially at Zagu.
Most people walk in and out of your life but only friends leave footprints in you heart. But I believe not in this for friends like you don't just leave footprints but a seed. A seed which our years of being together sowed. A seed which is nurtured by our experiences of happy times, sad times, frustrating times and most of all heart-breaking times (especially to Leizl and I). With this seed, I shall carry our memories wherever I go. With this seed which grows, my friendship with you will grow fonder and fonder even against adversities this seed shall hold on and continue to grow.
MY BESTEST PALS
To Leizl which I've been with since sixth grade, Ang tagal na rin!. The first time I encountered Leizl was during our sixth grade. She looked like a geek then and I'm aprehended to get along with her. I'm with Aina then, she's my 'bestfriend' then but something happened that made our ways depart. The first time I talk to Leizl was when I asked her if she could let me have a copy of lyrics of the ending song of Slam Dunk. Many of my classmates go to Leizl when they're going to ask for lyrics of anime soundtracks.
Our friendship grew on the last months of the school year where I helped her in one of her stories if I'm not mistaken it's The Princess of the Gems. I don't know how but I just came out that we developed chemistry and that is because we're both fond of anime. Since then I became friends with Leizl and we've been classmates since then. She's truly a blessing to me because of her attitude I strived hard to at least uplift my standing. I also asked her advice about my problems.
To Richelle who also became so close to me, Matagal na rin p're! I became friends with Richelle during second year high school. But Leizl actually introduced me to her during first year. When I remember that day, I REMEMBER RICHELLE'S CHUBBYNESS, Ang BIIIILLLLLOOOOOOG pa ng mukha ni Richelle nun parang siopao. I really can't remember now when our friendship grew and how did we go along.
MUMEI LEIZL, MUMEI ABI, MUMEI RICHELLE, MUMEI LEIZL, MUMEI ABI, MUMEI RICHELLE, MUMEI LEIZL, MUMEI ABI, MUMEI RICHELLE
WE HAD A BARKADA CALL NAMES THAT TIME. WE CALL EACH OTHER MUMEI.
MUMEI ABI, MUMEI RICHELLE, MUMEI LEIZL, MUMEI ABI, MUMEI RICHELLE, MUMEI LEIZL, MUMEI ABI, MUMEI RICHELLE, MUMEI LEIZL
But because of some instances we stopped calling each other "Mumei".
There was also a time when we extended our reach and bring into our Mumei Organization some other friends. We named them the EX-MUS (a.k.a. Extended Mumeis). This includes Yoshyen, Hani, Bea and Ma'am She. There is actually another one and she's Ma'am Thei.
We had so much fun together. Laughing together, helping in times of need like MEMS Group Studies in Calculus, and never forget teasing each other, especially to Hani in her most remarkable line "Ang sama mo!" with a complementing slap on your arm.
These bits of memories shall last wherever we may go, whoever we may meet, our friendship shall stay strong and even without communication with the memories we shared together we'll stay close and with this I leave you a quote which describes you as a friend to me
"A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked."---Bernard Meltzer
