I had a meeting at work this morning from 5am to 7am. I was planning on taking a nap but the three cups of coffee I drank during those two hours is making that just a tad hard to do. Not to mention the Starbuck I grabbed on my way home and am still working on.
Oh, my nephew showed up at my cousins wedding last week with bright red nails and a girl's belt. The belt was kinda sparklly and pastel colored. My papa had a little problem with that, me on the other hand loved it, but the nephew chastised me for not having MY nails a pretty color.

Also, have finally gotten my head out of my ass and applied to the local community college so I could transfer out for the fall '09 semester. So YAY ME!!!
And is androgynous a word most people are clueless about? See I was at work and J, a coworker started talking to me about my taste in guys, so at the end of everything I ended up summarizing and saying androgynous, and he got this completely stupefied look on his face. After defining it for him, getting teased, and him asking the guy I was dating last year if he knew what that was, (which he didn't, and surprised me), I just googled it so they could read a definition. I mean, I know it's not an everyday word but I at least thought it would be known to most people, or maybe I just expect too much. That reminds me that when alicenine. announced their new tour name I saw a lot of, "what does Discoteque mean?" I had a McKay moment right there.
