(no subject)
Less than a week 'til Christmas. Lovely. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it I spose but I know what I'm getting and what everyone else is getting too and that's just taken all of the fun out of it for me. No, I didn't *try* and find out, I went shopping with both my Mum and Dad for Christmas presents so now I know.
The weird/cool thing that happened when I went out with my Dad is that he went to the ATM and withdrew $200. He then proceeded to give me $100, the conversation went like this:
DAD: 'It's our little secret,'
SAM: *jokingly* 'What? You're giving me $100?'
DAD: *seriously* 'Yeah... just don't tell your Mum or you brother,'
SAM: *incredulously* 'Seriously?'
DAD: 'Yes, for doing so well at school.'
SAM: *completely stunned* 'Thanks...'
God, was I surprised! Anyway, my brother finishes school today - and of his primary school days as it were, meaning that he's going to be at the same school as me next year, lol. Nothing much else...
