[Conclusion]: Long Love Letter + Information: Super GALS!
Hey everyone,
I´ve finally finished Long Love Letter.
Don´t worry, what I´m blabbering about doesn´t contain any spoilers. I´ll give a spoiler warning when they´re ahead though~
Hmmmmmmmm ..... like I already said it´s a VEEEERY strange drama, that´s for sure and my opinion didn´t change at all by the last episode.
It´s strange ..... you wouldn´t expect that kind of story after watching the first half of episode 1, would you ?
It´s NONE of those typical romantic dramas ... it´s not .... well I guess you can´t compare it to anything else ?
I´m still not sure if I should recommend this drama or not ..... but I guess although it´s strange and ... gets you to think about a lot of things ... it´s still GOOD! in a different way (^^;)
It´s really hard to explain, so I guess I´ll tell you a little bit about the story:
Well at first we see Asami, a young man who is sitting in a café with a young woman (Misaki). They have a good talk, but then they part.
They´ve exchanged their mobile phone numbers and Asami is thinking about whether to call her or not. He decides not to and shortly after that his phone gets stolen and that was it for those 2.
..... 1 year later they meet again by coincidence.
Asami is a teacher now. Misaki was a teacher at the same school once, but quit for some reason (see for yourself :P).
One day they meet again at the schoolground and start to discuss why he didn´t call etc.
Suddenly a huge earthquake appears !

(Spoilers for episode 2, but I think it´s okay otherwise I can´t tell you what the story is ALL about !)
When they stand up and look around they find s.th. strange ..... NAMELY everything around the school has DISAPPEARED. The only thing they can see is desert ... everywhere !!!
Not only Misaki and Asami as a teacher, but also some students were at the school at that time, they soon notice what happened as well.
On the other hand:
The earthquake in Yokohama stopped and everyone is getting up on their feets again ... but WHAT IS THAT ??? The school is gone !!! Only a huge hole is left !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So at first everyone in the school thinks that there was a war or something else and that´s why everyone else disapperead and died.
The ones in Yokohama think that the school disappeared because it was destroyed by the earthquake.
But ... both the people in Yokohama AND the people in the school are still alive ... then wtf happened ?
You´ll find out after watching more episodes .....

It´s really very interesting and DAMN EXCITING!!!!!
Also there is one thing I can say without spoilers: It´s a good thing to watch this series in the year 2007 !!! ;)
So for those who´ve already watched that series. I´d like to discuss about the end:
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE END OF THE SERIES !!!!!
I think right now with the worldwide discussions about climatic catastrophes THIS is the series everyone should watch !
It´s also pretty scary because they said it´s all starting in 2007 (x___x) .... *cough*
Well I guess the story doesn´t want to be loved, the drama doesn´t want to be loved .. it´s not a drama where you say "Oh, it was so cute and good" it´s more like ... you start to think about things I guess. And regarding this fact it WAS a good drama.
But I didn´t like the end. I usually never like open ends !!! :/
On the other hand I guess I would hated other ends as well XDDD
But there´s one thing I don´t get:
So Asami got pieces of the letter in the year 2001 (!) .... he couldn´t figure out what was written exactly because it were only peaces, but he called Misaki and changed their past (with their I mean Misaki´s and his own future).
So okay ... now we have the following possibilities:
1) Because they are together now, there´s no need for Misaki to go/be in that school that day. So she won´t land in the future and won´t die. So right at that second when they send the letters back from the future a Misaki that is still alive should re-appear in the year 2002, am I right ?
It also could be that Asami is not at that school at that time.
But we don´t see that.
2) Both are not at the school. None of them is dead, they´re not travelling to the future.
3) Both of them still travel to the future.
But the thing I don´t get is:
The last thing we see is the school and that everything around it gets GREEN !
Okay nice .. but that means that someone read the letter(s) right ????? That´s the only possibility !
But if so ! There should be NOBODY at school in the future ! (we don´t see that though)
Why ? Because the letter(s) were sent to the year 2001, so if s.o. read them, they might know what happened, they rescued earth (see green) AND they also knew that the school will travel into the future .. so noone would enter that school on that day right ?
But they didn´t manage to do s.th. against the earthquake in 2002, because the school was nevhertheless there, right ?
AAAH my head hurts ... that´s what you get if you make an open end shikushou ! (T___T)

So .. one series is over, another started. I´ve just yesterday started with a new series called Kisarazu Cat´s Eye
I guess some of you have alreay watched it ?
I must admit that I didn´t like the first episode much ..... :/ ..... BUT was the ending song really an Arashi song ???? !!!! O__O .. wow !~ *pants*
But don´t worry I´ll give that series a try and watch more episodes ^^ ....... but if it´s not getting any better, then I stop XD
Okay on to another topic:
There are finally new SUBBED episodes out of SUPER GALS !!!!!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay !!! We had to wait for sooooooooooooooooooooooooo long !!!!!
I´m really looking forward to watch episode 19+ ^____________________^ (and I was really sad, because this series isn´t released here in Germany yet :/ ....)
So if you also waited for new episodes, then get them here @ anime_downloads or if you can use Bit Torrent ~> NNK-Anime
