Thank you very much for sharing!!!!
I love this pairing too, even if I'm not into DBZ that much anymore (I watched it about 6 years ago, when they first broadcasted it in Italy...XDDD)
And I wonder why Vegeta is always uke, too...I generally prefer VegetaxGoku, but uke!Vegeta amuses me very much. XDDDD

HEEEHH!! I´ve seen Dragonball in June 2000 in Italy, too ^^ It was the Freeza saga back then and I really loved the Italian voices of Goku and Vegeta !! I also love the Italian DBZ opening "What is my destiny" very much ^___^b
Yesh~ I was into DB(Z) about 5-6 years ago ^^ .. but I still love Vegeta AND GokuxVegeta a lot (^^)>
Perhaps it´s because Vegeta´s so small ?!? XDDDD *squee*

AND I adore your icon btw. (°-°)/

Really? Were you in Italy, back then? o.o
I love the Italian voices of Goku and Vegeta, too!!! I must admit italian voice actors are generally quite good (much better than the american ones, for example, IMHO. ^^'''')
The italian opening is catchy and good, especially if you don't understand the lyrics. Like most of italian anime songs, they're absolutely corny. XDDDDDDDD

Yes, I think so. One of the most important yaoi rules is "the shortest one in the pair = uke" (at least it's what I always see. XDDD)

I adore it too. Well, I adore anything with Mizuki in it, really. XDDDDD *has a major crush on him*
Btw, that icon you used never fails to amuse me. XDDDD

Yes for 2 weeks ^___^> (<~ holidays)
Hai!!! I agree!!! The Italian voices are more manly. It suits better to series like Dragonball ^^ (well the English version of DBZ wasn´t tooo bad, but usually I do not like English dubs :P)
Yes, that´s right ^^ I also love the Italian GT opening ... although it´s a bit techno-like, nee ??!! ^^ ... I think the Italian openings are the best anime openings besides the Japanese original ! Well ok some Spanish anime openings are good, too,... and ... at least I can understand Spanish (my Italian is really not good enough ;__; ...)

Yeah .. I guess otherwise it would look pretty ... funny XDDDDD (it´s the same with Hiei-uke and Kurama-seme XDDD)
And somehow I really like Seme-Goku kekekeke XD

Haha, I see ^^ YESH~ Mizuki´s definitely ... special ! ;) *laugh*
Sou ka ? Yokatta !!! XDDDDDD

Oh, I see. :D
Now that I think about it, I've been in Germany this spring..XD First thing I did was checking comic stores to see the manga they're publishing there...I am so envious. I think I saw a lot of You Higuri mangas and Wild Adapter, on top of the others. *curls up in a corner and dies* <-- totally unrelated to the rest, sorry. XDD

I like the italian Dragon Ball (1st series) opening, too. And I like the one for DBGT (even though the lyrics keep getting worse and worse...)
You can understand a lot of languages, though!! :DD

Ah, Hiei...at the beginning I couldn't understand why everyone made him uke...XDDD And seme-Goku is hot, after all. ^.~

Yes, HE IS!!!! *glomps and kidnaps*

EEEHHHH???!!! That´s sooo funny, cuz I was so envious of Italy when I was there in 2000 !!! You had TONS of mangas back then (like Captain Tsubasa, Marmalade Boy etc.) AND you had tons of animes broadcasted at Italian tv !!! Back then we had almost NOTHING in Germany (T___T) ... *sigh* .. that´s why I bought a lot of stuff and merchandising in Italy back then XDDDDDD
(yesh~ Germany sometimes really sucks -__- XDDD)

*nods* I like the Italian DB opening, too ! :) it´s pretty long, isn´t it ?! ^^ I also like the Italian Pokémon Opening .. and the Pesca la tua carta (??!!) Sakura Opening (CCS) and the Detectiv Conan one and the Piccoli problemi di cuore (?!) (Marmalade Boy) one .... and and !! XDDDDD *headdesk*

A lot of languages ?! (@_@) .. not really (T_T)

Hehe~

XDDDDD We still have a lot of manga, and luckily their prices seems a bit lower that in the rest of Europe, but I would DIE to have some of the manga you have there. Wild Adapter, Wild Adapter, Wild Adapter!!!
There were a lot of anime broadcasted on tv, much more than now. T___T

Wow, you know more about italian openings than I do. XDDDDD (the names are all right, btw) I loved the first pokemon songs a lot (they did a lot of them after that, but that one is still the best. XDDD)

Well, you know english and spanish and japanese and german, so that's a lot. XDDD

:D

Really ?! How much does a manga cost in Italy .. more or less that is ( ... )

Reply

chaosmyth December 28 2006, 10:12:27 UTC
The average is 3-3.50 euro...then of course we have some manga with a very small market which are much more expensive (for example the VERY few yaoi manga who are published here cost 8.50 euro each. <.*takes Wild Adapter* It's not a sin not to like a manga...I really worship it, though. XDDDD My favourite manga ever, but I love everything by Minekura-sensei. XDDDDDDDDD ( ... )

WOOAAH~ that´s really cheap !! (°-°)> ... Average mangas cost here more or less 5-6€ .. and like you said some yaoi manga and other special manga (with colored pages and stuff) are up to 9€ (-_-)

Ah yes Saint Seiya ! I like the Italian version, although I´ve only see one episode and commercials for the movies and stuff ^^ (but I DID understand almost everything XDDD) Saint Seiya is really suited for the Italian language :) ... it was NEVER ever broadcasted here in Germany though (;___;) *sob*
BUT we had Captain Tsubasa, Attack No. 1, Versailles no Bara (called Lady Oscar here in Germany) were also broadcasted back then and they were also series that almost everyone watched - even non-anime-fans ^^;

In Germany right now ? Un .. let´s see ... <~ *doesn´t know exactly, isn´t watching any right now XD ( ... )

The negative thing is that volumes are a bit less well done than German ones, but at least I can afford to buy more...XDDD

It's really a shame saint Seiya was never broadcasted there...I love it. But you understood the Italian version? Whoa, you know a bit of italian, too? XDDD
I never heard abut Attack No. 1, but Versailles no Bara is called Lady Oscar here too. XDD

We have exactly the same anime as you...Detective Conan and One Piece are on hiatus (will they ever be aired again? No one knows. -.-), and DBGT and Shaman King have already ended, but we have Naruto, Pokemon and YGO GX. Oh, and did I mention Keroro Gunso? It's the only one I actively watch. Insanely funny. XDDDDD

Oooh...so European MTVs don't have all the same programs? The anime we have now are Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha and Beck. Before there were Last Exile, Wolf's rain, Fullmetal panic, Saiyuki (♥), Aquarion, Escaflowne, Evangelion, Cowboy bebop and others...all dubbed, of course. -.-

I will upload it for you...It's one of the few italian mp3 I have. XDDDDDD

Here's the italian opening for The Slayers:

And since tonight Sendspace was inexplicably fast, I uploaded some other italian songs I have:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/eql48p

if you don't know which anime they are from (I forgot to add the japanese name of the anime to some of them) feel free to ask. Italian songs often have long and weird names, totally unrelated to the anime. XDDDDDDDDDD

Really ? The German versions aren´t too good either ^^ .. compared to the Japanese ones which are actually pretty cheap, nee ?! (;__ ( ... )

That thing about Attack No. 1 is... confusing. XDDDDD
I know very well about Mila e Shiro (Attacker Yu! in japanese, I think), because it's another of the anime everyone has seen. I played volleyball for 5 years because of it. XDDDDDDD
I know there are other volleyball anime who were broadcasted in the same period...maybe the one you're talking about is "Mimì e la nazionale di pallavolo"? I will investigate. XDDDDD
Yes, I know "Palla al centro per Rudy"...don't remember anything about it, though. XDDDD But these mysteries about the openings are very funny, indeed. XDDDDDDDDD

The italian version of FMA is actually quite good (even if it will NEVER match the awesomeness of the original seiyuus), and there are no cuts (MTV doesn't cut, thanks God.).

You're welcome!!!! ♥
I'm sorry some of those are only the short version, but the full one is often very hard to find... :/

chochajin December 29 2006, 00:22:29 UTC
Yes it is XDDD but I can upload both openings as avi-files tomorrow then you will see and hear for yourself XDDDDD (perhaps some stupid German people thought back then "Ah, it´s also about volleyball, it has to be the same series .. so let´s steal the Italian opening kekekeke" XDDD)

Really ? Our (XD) MTV DOES cut O__O .. well only very little and very very seldom .. but they DO cut (;___;) .... well I think I would like FMA with Italian voices .. kind of .. but NOT with German voices .. I´ve heard their American voices once .. excuse me, but they were horrible ! ;__; XDDDD *cough*

Not a problem ^____^ *hugs again*
