Hello.
Saturday (Feb 12) was the first weekend day in almost a month with good weather where I did have time to actually do something!
So, I just had to go out on a tour.
I went near Eching to check out four different lakes.
The first one you see above, it was also the largest one: Hollerner See
The second like was smaller, so I went around it. Beautiful colors!
This is Mallertshofer See.
The lakes weren't too far apart, mostly around 3-4 km each.
I walked a total of 15 km that day.
It looks warm, but it wasn't. It was around 3°C and it was extremely windy. I think you can see it on the water.
Especially at this lake there were a lot of people with their dogs and the dogs actually went into the water. Brrr!!
You can see that there's still a small ice layer on the lake at some parts....
Off to the third (Garchinger See) and fourth (Echinger See) one.

The only problem was that to get from one lake to the other, you had to walk through plain fields that weren't shielded from the storm.
So, it was sooooo freaking cold! It really felt like -15°C. :( ....
Also, stitting down to quickly eat my lunch, I couldn't feel my hands afterwards anymore. Well, I could. They were red and hurt like hell.
After 2 hours I already had reached the point where I was so cold that I needed to warm up somewhere, but there was nothing, not even a chance to protect yourself from the wind for a short time....
And I think that's what got me sick eventually.
I might have caught something already, but this cold completely overwhelmed my immune system and in the late evening I felt very sick. :(
Back at the first lake.
Speeding up to get to my car as quickly as possible to warm up.
And yes, I wore several layers, that was not the problem .....
I like that it doesn't get dark that early now. Around 17:30.
As I got sick, I couldn't go on a trip the next day. Sunday was even warmer with less wind ... oh well.
I shouldn't complain. :)
Hope you enjoyed the photos.
Bye~chuu!~
