Hello again!
Like I mentioned in my previous entry last weekend we had really good weather for a change...
So, on Saturday I went near the famous Chiemsee (a huge lake not too far from Munich).
This is "Kloster Seeon" (it's an abbey).
It's surrounded by lakes and nearby are a few more, so I just took the chance to see as many of them as possible.
Cows are already out although the weather is still cold and very unstable.
Dandelions in full bloom and the farmers have not yet cut them down. ^___^
Hiked a bit up to see the lake, the abbey and the mountain panorama from above.
Keep in mind that I'm using my smartphone's camera, so zooming is really difficult. ^^;
Chilling a bit at "Griessee".
View during my lunch break.
Next lake: Brunnensee
That bridge leads back to the abbey.
The lake there has really beautiful colors.
Inside the church next to the abbey.
We're still in lockdown, ever since December, so everything is still closed. Such a sad sight. :( ....
My last stop was the Obinger Lake. The kiosk there was open for to-go stuff and there were quite a few people. I can imagine this is a popular bathing lake in summer. :) Unfortunately, too far away for me just for swimming ..... ^^;
I've never really been in that corner of the region. I only went hiking once near Chiemsee thus far.
I really need to explore that region a bit more in case I do move back home to my home region in the future as this is then too far away for daytrips.
Hope you enjoyed the photos!
Have a great weekend!
Bye~chuu
