>> Yet a lot of schools do allow the students to gather at schools or other facilities to study which completely defies the original purpose …..

Yesssssssssss! I was talking to my friend who teaches English and even though the school is "closed down" it still runs basically under the guise of "We aren't working really, but if you need someone to take your kid so you can work, we got you."

My train is still just as packed with students. But yesterday, I officially saw news here about possibly having to postpone or cancel the Olympics. My friends abroad have been asking me about it for a while but now we finally heard it in our local news. So. No. Kawagoe station has been a heck-hole under remodeling for Olympics. They better do they Olympics, lol.

But it makes more sense to do like in Germany, slowly rolling out the closures, so people can adjust properly. It's because Japan was too sudden that nothing is changing.

I'm disappointed with the Sakura goods this year, everywhere. There is nothing new! They should have played out on the Matcha and Kuri seasons a bit longer.

*sigh* ..... well, only time will tell, I guess.
I really hope they can do the Olympics. I suppose postponing wouldn't make much sense either.

I guess it gets kind of boring after a while. I think I felt that way about many limited / seasonal things from time to time. As I haven't been in Japan during sakura season ever since 2014, I guess I'm excited to just receive this one instant coffee from Starbucks, especially because I like VIA instant coffee a lot in general. :)
