I had gotten amazingly good recommendations from a good friend on this anime (and also on Arslan Senki!)...and now you! this must be the sign that I needed to finally watch it/both of them xD

Yeah, actually it's even more popular than I thought at first. Which is great, but also sucks at the same time as the manga was in the "popular shelf" in Japan and thus expensive. T_T ....
I'll wait another year, then I should be able to find it for 100 yen. At least that's what I'm hoping for.
But as the manga is so popular, I'm sure we don't have to worry about another season. It will come for sure. :D

Now that I've finally seen it, I should have heeded that warning, I totally forgot about that. There's still the OVA for me at least. God yes, Basara was amazing. I think Red River is up there as well though. Sadly the manga isn't finished either yet? Oh no...

About Haku and Yona, I think they're not yet there where you can ship them as they are both not ready for love, my that sounds corny. Haku barrs himself from feeling like this for Yona and Yona... I guess she's still a bit too young to really feel like this. She'll grow up though and then I'll ship them all the way :) No way Haku will give her up to Su-wong even if Yona should forgive him after hearing his reasons (whatever they are). I can see her forgiving him in the end, but probably he'll die for her to redeem himself... that's how these things always end.

Yeah ...... it's too bad it's not finished yet.
That's probably also why the volumes are still so expensive.
I finally saw the first 5 volumes in the 200 yen range, but there's still a long way to go, so I'll be patient for now. :)

I hope you liked the series, though. ^____^

Actually, there's one particular episode in the OVA that REALLY flashed me because I didn't expect it.
We get to know one of the characters much better and I really didn't see that coming. Loved it. ^^
