[Japan Photos]: Goodbye Cherry blossoms!~

Apr 21, 2011 22:25

Hello again!

I have to admit that lately I'm extremely unmotivated when it comes to LJ. I'm really sorry!

Don't worry, I won't stop posting, but maybe the gaps between entries might become bigger. I really have no idea at the moment.

Anyways, instead of starting with my travel photos, I wanna post some photos from last week.
When I finally was kind of fit again (after getting sick
) I took my camera and tried to get at least a FEW cherry blossom shots this year.

Unfortunately the full bloom was over already and the petals kept falling/snowing down like WOAH!
It's part of my life this year that I missed the full bloom, so I wanna post these photos. I hope you enjoy them!

There are definitely more cherry blossoms than during my spring vacation, but as you'll see in some close-ups later, it's far from "full bloom".

What was really a pitty is that the weather was extremely awesome while I was sick. During my spring vacation I was already researching possible day trips so that eventually I would be able to see some cherry blossoms once I get back home.
Unfortunately due to getting sick, that plan failed as well!

Tons of cherry blossom petals are floating away in front of my eyes.

Beautiful color combination! I love this season (and I'm afraid of what is yet to come aka another superhot summer T_T ...)

Whenever I found branches/parts that still looked like they're in full bloom I took a close-up ;P

Blue+green+pink=L.O.V.E!!!

The white dots in the picture are petals falling down.

Although it might look like quite a lot of petals are still on the trees, the majority was definitely already on the floor!!!

Even though I couldn't enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom, I really enjoyed that day. I was finally fit again and the weather was absolutely awesome as well :)

Other flowers say goodbye to the petals lying on the floor.

Even other flowers are in love with the cherry blossoms and so they catch the petals in order to keep them?! XDD

Maybe it's yummie food for them or maybe they think they can become cherry blossoms as well by doing this?!

The pink blossoms are slowly being replaced by green leaves.

Hello there! Also saying goodbye to the cherry blossoms?!

花吹雪 (hanafubuki): cherry blossoms blizzard

So, goodbye cherry blossoms! It was an extremely short time for me this year! Hope to see you (again) next year!!
