Hello!
It's been crazy busy days. Today as well, but I finished what I needed to do a while ago and now I have a little bit of time before I get busy again later today.
So here's part 2 of the autumn leaves in Miyajima!
Miyajima (November 21st, 2010):
On my way out of the park I met some more deer.
Close-up. The young deer is sooo cute ^-^
Deer + autumn leaves on one photo. Always wanted to have a photo like that anyways ^-^
I finally arrived at
Daisho-in, but strolled around outside of it for a little while.
Here starts another hiking trail up to Mt. Misen btw. I didn't go up there, but I spotted all the nice colors, so I went there :D
Finally at the entrance of Daisho-in.
And it was red all over there, too!!
On my way up the stairs I stopped a few times to look to my right and left and take a few photos :D
Finally up there I see the statue of
Anpanman again ^-^
Temple bell.
The cute Tanuki statues enjoy autumn as well!
It was soooo beautiful around the temple facilities. Too bad that vehicle was in the way ;o;
I think I stayed there even longer than in April as I had to take photos every two steps XD
As I already explained in the spring edition (XD) when you go up or down the stairs you're supposed to move the green thingies there as it's said to bring you fortune.
I love Daisho-in as there are so many small and cute statues everywhere!!!
Anyone wants momiji in their drink? XD
More cute statues ^-^
Close-ups!
So beautiful!!!
I really could have spent there hours!! It was so beautiful everywhere!
Oi, no sleeping here!!
Is he happy that he got some money? ^-^;
He's still begging for more! :D
My last shot and then I left the temple to go back to the gate as the sunset was about to happen.
On my way back I discovered some more beautiful things and took photos.
Uh-oh. Low tide!
And I'm almost there, can you see it? :)
Can't I just fly to it? XD
And I'm finally there! Unfortunately the sun didn't set close to the gate this time (like in spring), but somewhere behind the mountains. Yet it was still beautiful! And not as cold as in April after it got dark!! (O_O')
There were still a lot of people in the shrine at that time.
And the water slowly came back, low tide was obviously over!
The shrine was still safe, though.
Although we couldn't see the sunset it was still really beautiful.
Especially the colors!
I'd love to have this photo as postcard :D
And once it got too dark they started lighting up the gate.
On my way back I spotted a really beautiful moon that night. Unfortunately I couldn't manage to get a decent photo of it. I really need to get a tripod or something :/
Camera used:
Pentax K-x And that's it already. Well, I shouldn't say that. I guess for one day that's more than enough photos
I hope you enjoyed it.
That's all for travel photos for the moment, but winter vacation and thus new travel photos is just around the corner, so there ya go!
Thanks for reading! Comments are love
