Wow I learn something new every day! Actually, Kobe is one of the Japanese cities I have least knowledge of (besides the Hanshin earthquake, that it was once the capital for a brief time, huge port city and well...Kobe beef) ^-^ Like I didn't know they were a famous pastry city, and when I think of Westerners in Japan usually Nagasaki comes to mind :) I love the cute western houses, but like you said, it's probably more exciting for Japanese than us. Hehe, but the Finnish may be a bit disappointed by seeing Moomin-articles beeing placed in the Danish house *LOL* XDDD One of my favourite photos is of the Starbucks, that has to be the cutest Starbucks I've ever seen ^______^ And now you can even get a full-English in plastic?!! Awesome! XD
Thanks for sharing info and photos of Kobe, now I'd really like to go there (actually it was one of the Kansai-destinations I overlooked when planning a possible Kansai trip because I didn't think there was much but a large port city, now I know I was soooo wrong!) I'm really looking forward to the 2nd entry ^__^
I didn't know much about Kobe other than that it was mentioned as a day trip when you're in Kyoto or Osaka, but as I had time, I researched and found out that there are quite some interesting things that made it worth staying some days ^-^
*lol* I know XD I think for Japanese people it's all the same: Norwegian, Danish, Finnish ... XD
