Okay,
it's official! We are ALMOST through with the photos!! Yah~ .. I guess only 1 or 2 more photo posts and that's it! (^-^'') Phew~
As I thought I can't manage to post them all before I fly, but at least I've edited and uploaded all of them by now!
Hope you look forward to the random rest XD
This time I have TONS of photos of Tokyo Tower by night and day. I really love Tokyo Tower ... and if you look at the amount of photos I took ... one might say I'm obsessed? XDDDD No, not really.
Anyway enjoy~
I has a stalker icon! XD
That was taken while we were at Roppongi Hills [enter American slang here XDDD <~ *insider*]. I really love this photo, because of its colors <3
And that's Roppongi Hills! Pretty neat place :D
If you've ever been to Roppongi Hills, you already know this huge (nice!?) spider, nee? XD
Anyway you can get up to the 54th floor at Roppongi Hills - it's not free though.
Before we got up there, we had to eat something. It was my first time eating/drinking @ Tully's Coffee!
It seems to be pretty famous in the US? Never heard of it before though (^^') ... but
hesaki knew about it! :)
There were a lot of foreigners. Apparently a lot of foreigners work in Roppongi :)
After we were full XD we went up there and found Nemo (again!!) XD
The view from up there: Tokyo at night! - was SOOOOOOOOOOOOooo~ great!!!
I really stood at those windows and stared out like a little kid for hours and was like: WOAAAAAH!!! Wooooaaah!!! XDDD *ahem*~
On the right you can see Tokyo Tower once again.
Unfortunately we don't have any good shots from up there ;o; .... you couldn't use flash because of the windows and without flash everything was too blurry and stuff *sigh* ;o; WHAT A SHAME!!
But you could buy some beautiful skyline postcards up there ... which I obviously did (^^')
On another day we were going to Tokyo Tower directly to take some night shots of it.
On our way I found one of these cute things on the road again. Of course I took a photo of it XD
I really wanted to steal all of those thingies!!!! (^^')
Can you see Tokyo Tower? (^-^') Tokyo at night is always so beautiful in its own way <3
And we're almost there! Looks cool, huh? And "he" ;P is so huge *coughs* ... doesn't fit into ONE photo!! XD
Tokyo Tower is higher than the Eiffel Tower by the way :)
That was on our way back to the station. I totally loved the colors, so I took a photo of it :)
In my 3rd week I went to Tokyo Tower once again - this time alone!
I wanted to take some shots by daylight + wanted to ENTER Tokyo Tower :)
On my way I just took this photo of the World Trade Center XD
And there "he" is again ;P
Did I already mention that I really took a LOOOT of Tokyo Tower photos?!? XD
There was a huge temple (?) right in front of the Tower.
See? I kind of like this photo: Old temple/shrine + Tokyo Tower in the background :)
And tons of skyscrapers in the background as well XD
We already talked about these thingies, didn't we?
Japanese way of mourning work for their (aborted) kids .........
And that's really IN FRONT OF the Tokyo Tower now :) We already took a photo of this at night, but as you can imagine you couldn't see much of the cute statues XD
Nice, huh? And the weather was great, too! ^-^
And that's inside of Tokyo Tower. Souvenir shops and stuff like WOAH!! (o__o'')
This is also where I spotted
Nukumizu Youichi (jdrama actor, e.g. Densha Otoko). I wrote about it
here!
Cute little schoolboys! XD ... well too young for me though ;P
There was also an aquarium, but it wasn't free, so I didn't check it out (^^')
Isn't that .... thingie .. cute?! XD
Best photo ever!! German Volkswagen right beside Tokyo Tower!!!!!! <333 XDDD
Another cute (and random) truck! (^^') .... Why don't we have cute trucks like that here in Germany??!! :/
Also in my 3rd week I went alone to a Japanese graveyard! I always wanted to take photos of Japanese graves (^^') .....
The
Yanaka Cemetery (谷中霊園) is quite famous, because the last shogun
Tokugawa Yoshinobu rests there!! ^^
First of all you have to get out at Nippori station. It's totally ugly there!!! (T___T) .....
Then only walk straight for a bit and you're already there! It's easy to find, but ....... b-but .... Japanese graveyards are so unorganized!! I really had problems finding my wait OUT OF THE WHOLE GRAVEYARD again!!! *spazzes* .... anyway ... I took quite a lot of photos, so enjoy :D
They only seem to have the family names of the persons on the stones??!!! I'm not sure, but in Germany there's always the full name (your previous name before you got married as well, if any) and when you were born + when you died. I guess that's pretty common in a lot of countries??
*lol* so cute! ^^
XD
I have no idea what these huge toothpicks XD are!! Anybody knows and wants to share with us? :)
And there it was (^^') .......
Okay ... and finally some totally random (yeah it's getting more and more random from now on!) night shots of Tokyo :D
Camera used:
Sony Cybershot DSC-W1 Aaand~ that's it for today!
Hope you like the photos!
Bye-jaan~
