[JFood]: Ochazuke ♥, Genmaicha and random stuff
Ahem~
Sorry this entry will be pretty random, but I just felt like ... being random, I guess XD~
First of all: Some of you might remember me totally crazy about a Japanese dish called "ochazuke" (お茶漬け), right?
"My" beloved Japanese host family served it to me. It looked like that:
And today I finally "made" ochazuke by myself for dinner!

And HOMG!!! My memories didn´t deceive me!!! This is prolly one of my most fav Japanese dishes!! (^3^)
.... plus it´s SOOOOO easy to make!!!! ... Basically you don´t have to do anything .. you don´t need any cooking skills as well!
This might be the most perfect dish ever!!! ... Am I exaggerating? (^-^') ... Oh well, I personally just love it so much!
As you can see I didn´t use salmon, I didn´t have any, but it also tastes good with just those ingredients I used.
So, all you need is this:
100g (or depending on the size of the cup: 3/4-1 cup) of Japanese rice (or any other sticky rice will do)
Cook it like usually.
Open the ochazuke "furikake" ... in my case it was with nori:
The one on the left was a present from my host mother ^^ (I still have more and different flavors as well *-*) ... and the one on the right is what I bought here in Germany in an asia-shop :)
Anyway put your cooked rice in a (rice) bowl while it´s still warm, then sprinkle the ochazuke seasoning over it.
After that all that´s left is to make some kind of Japanese green tea!
Usually you use Hojicha, but I used Genmaicha - I love the flavor of Genmaicha a bit more, that´s why ^-^
That´s how Genmaicha looks like ^-^ If you´ve never tried this kind of Japanese green tea, you definitely should!!
Pour one cup of this green tea over your rice bowl and YOU´RE DONE!!!!!!!!!
Very simple, isn´t it???
HOMG! It was really yummie ;o; .... makes me miss Japan even more (^-^') ....
But I´m glad that I´ve found s.th. that is easy to make, quickly done and tastes great nevertheless (^3^)
... and here I thought I wouldn´t post anything food related for a while .... aaaahhh~ I´m (j)food addicted ;P

Well, .... I just couldn´t resist and stripped him (^-^') ...................
... and because he was one hot guy .... I wanted to taste ... ahm .. I mean .... I KILLED HIM DAMN! D: ......
Ehh~ I guess that means no Christmas for me? o___O; .... ;___________; ... XDDD
Oh well I have to work on that day anyway XD
And because I´m already that random:
Cute, isn´t he? I discovered him almost 1,5 years ago on my balcony! :)
I just found those photos again today (^-^') ....
That cute bird was a nice model, he posed for my camera before he disappeared again XD.
Last, but not least: Ahhm, ... I was stupid enough to post at the JE STALKER MEME without knowing what it´s about XD ...
