(no subject)
Pretty busy week and yet uneventful, not counting Easter, seems like the only reminders of the holidays are all the chocolate eggs (actually, only one left now, and one of those giant Hershey's kiss) , school took over as usual... am looking forward to the weekend :) I haven't gotten around to anything yet, I’ve got to check out all your journals (sorry for not commenting much lately, I feel pretty lame about it)! That damn history thing totally drove me crazy, thankfully I handed it in today, was up till 1am finishing it.. ugh. My school is like that usually, we just get overloaded with essays and projects and papers to hand in pretty much at the same time.
Yesterday I went to the barn after staying away for 4 days. There's a show this weekend, but I don't know if I'm going to make it because I don't have a horse to jump :( My instructor was letting me jump one of his horses, called Saxon, but he was lame not even 2 weeks ago, so he's not jumping yet. Sigh. I WANT MY OWN HORSE!! *whines* I know everybody says it's good for me to get to ride all these different horses every day because I'll be more experienced and will be able to lead with different types of horses etc. etc. etc. BUT I’ve been doing this my whole life, you know? I want a horse I can really develop a close bond with, for us to get to know each other. I want to be a team. /end-rant
Oh and another thing that’s annoying me. I forgot my new copy of The Hobbit when I went over to grandparents’ place for Easter :( Dang. Lol. Started reading P.S. I Love You instead.
Things I Am Thinking About :S
At my school there’s this project (roughly translating, ‘Citizenship Project’) that apparently happens every year for my current grade. We work on it all year and travel to another state for the hands-on/personal experience/whatever part of it. I’m still learning about it, the teachers have mentioned it a LOT already, we are supposedly getting around to it next week, and a program has been pinned up in my classroom, the field trip is scheduled for May 19th (the day we’d leave here, we are going to stay away for 4 days and 3 nights). This year is the first year they are taking us by plane J Don’t really know why I am thinking about this but it is on my mind a lot. My travel senses are tingling *-* /end-fail LOL
Also I’m having some definite crises where I want to stuff my head in a pillow and scream and sometimes I want to grab at people’s throats for being omfg so pathetic and rude and mean. But of course I control these urges (not so much the head-in-pillow one, but still).
OHMYGOSH. My internet is pissing me off. It’s taking 3 minutes to load one page and keeps giving me the ERROR message. *punches keyboard, kicks screen*
Okay I’m basically just being a bitch so I’ll post this already and get around to more important things.
Oh, does anyone know where I can get free LJ layouts? I want to change up my journal and there are some nice ones available but I would like to have a look at some new stuff.
