(no subject)
Oh my it's Thursday already, the days are flying by so fast :O
I have lots to say, including some stuff from like last weekend xD Hope I don't bore you guys to tears with old news, but there'll be some new stuff later :)
So on the 17th it was my birthdayy.. ;)
I know, who cares, lol. Anyway 3 of my friends from my old school (I switched schools last year) came over to my house, but it was totally unexpected! I did not know they were coming. It was really nice to see them after such a long time, we talked and talked for ages (my dad even made popcorn xD). When they stopped by, I'd barely gotten home from the barn myself, was still in my breeches and smelling of horse (not really a problem for me, but apparently most people don't appreciate the stench :P). That was pretty much my Wednesday; riding and catching up with old friends.
Then on Saturday I invited my family and a few friends over for a birthday get-together thing. It really wasn't a party, but it was nice :) My mom managed to save the cake I screwed up twice, it ended up delicious - first I added the double amount of milk then the recipe said, and then I mixed some ingredients when they weren't supposed to be mixed, but it worked out wonderfully thanks to my mother's mad cake-baking skills lol. I also decorated the living room Harry Potter-style :D On Friday I got inspired and took out loads of cutouts, postcards and pictures and crepe paper and stuck it all to the wall. This was around 9pm so not really the neatest but definitely the fastest decorating I've ever done :D
Coming back to the present, school is driving me insane with the amount of work we're getting ø_øIt's essays, projects, researches, extra credit activities, not to mention normal everyday homework. Argh. I have to take advantage that I've got Thursdays free and get on with this work but I really don't feel like it xD My mom is already requesting the computer so I'll have to hand it over soon anyway, haha.
Later today I'll make another entry, but it's sort of long and involves lots of linking so I'm making it on Word first, in case LJ freaks on me again :P
