I can't believe it's only been a week since I last posted, it seems like months D: All I have to say is, working at the barn ain't easy! It took up all of time, and I am dead tired. I finished my exams at school early today so I have a little time now while my mom is out (she's been hogging the computer, too *sigh*).
Anyway there is so much I want to say, but I have like 10 minutes on here so I best find a way to make it short! Under the cut for your convenience..
Well, like I said in that oh-so-old entry, I started going to the barn on Tuesday afternoon. I got there at around 2:30pm and got home again at 7:30pm, so that's like 5 hours of straight-on horse work :D I admit I tired out pretty quickly that first day, considering I only rode 2 horses and the rest of the time was spent helping out the stable-hands and on the arena. Anyway, when I got home I still had to shower, eat, and do my homework before I got to hit the hay sack. I kept at this routine pretty much for the rest of the week, except for the fact that I started riding 3 horses every day and on Thursday, when I had a doctor's appointment and only made it to the barn at around 5pm. Also on Thursday it rained cats and dogs (and horses, lol) when we were riding and everybody got soaked. We totally did NOT leave the ring because of a little bit of water.. except it turned into a lot of water real fast. I think I owe my current cough and stuffy nose to that day :/ On Saturday there was a show for the higher levels somewhere else, so I was alone at the barn working the horses who weren't showing. I rode from 8:30am to almost 1pm one horse after the other, around 40/50min each. It was good, but we went to a restaurant afterwards for lunch and I ate more then 500g of food xD More then my dad ate, dude. I was so hungry, lol.
Anyway, tomorrow it starts again (yay). I am enjoying the experience, but it keeps me way busy, so I don't know how my online life will end up xD My original plan was to come on every night, but I can't make it. I will try and post as much as I can though, of course :) And to keep up with you guys, if you haven't unfriended me for lack of fresh offerings!! :P
I'm gonna go do my homework now and then take my shower.. I'll just take a look at you guys' journals first :)
