Things I have learnt over the past few weeks
1. Translating a doctor's patient notes from French to English using Babelfish and then trying to write a manuscript from it is not easy
2. Trying to write a manuscript from professionally-translated patient notes is slightly easier, but not by much
3. Flying over London on Guy Fawkes night is much better than going to a single fireworks show, even if it is with British Airways
4. Sales pitches are scary, scary things to do
5. 1300 calories is not very much
Off to Lincolnshire this weekend to cat-sit for my parents. We'll probably stop at the reenactors market on the way, so maybe will see some of you there.
