Title: On the Way Back Home
Pairing: teeny tiny hint of Ryouchi and Ohyass
Rating: G
Summary: Hina loves to sit at the back of the bus because of a simple reason.
Disclaimer: I wish I do but I don't. :(
“Thanks for your hard work!”
With a final bow to the staffs, Murakami Shingo turned and went inside the minivan that was provided for them.
His face softened as he looked at the seven people that were already on the bus. These people were his band mates, his comrades, his friends.
Murakami did an unconscious head count as he proceeded to his seat at the very back of the bus.
Maru had already settled down. He had an orange shawl wrapped around his shoulders and he was hugging on to his cushion tightly. Maru looked up and saw Shingo looking at him. Maru smiled.
Shingo smiled back.
His attention went to the couple sitting behind Maru next. Okura was already asleep, his head leaning on the window. Yasuda was curled up next to him. The little guy had his eyes closed as well. Both of them were smiling.
Shingo smiled too.
He turned to his left and saw Ryo and Uchi huddled together, whispering in each other’s ears and giggling like girls.
Shingo went up to them and smacked both their heads. They looked up, surprised.
“Shhh!” Shingo said as he pointed to the two people who were sleeping.
Ryo looked annoyed but the giggling stopped. Uchi smiled apologetically at Shingo.
Shingo can’t help but to smile back.
He went further back and saw Subaru looking out the window, a pen and a notebook in his hand.
“Another song?” Shingo asked softly.
Subaru nodded and smiled at Shingo before turning his attention back to the window.
Shingo smiled.
Behind Subaru, Yoko was fidgeting in his seat, a PSP in hand. He was pushing down the buttons violently, muttering something that Shingo couldn’t catch.
Shingo smiled as he ruffled Yoko’s hair. But Yoko didn’t even look at him. He just waved Shingo away.
Shingo’s smile grew broader.
As Shingo sat down on his seat that was at the very back of the minivan, he realized that he loved this seat for a reason. He was able to see all of his friends from his favourite seat. It made him feel secure because he could watch over them.
Within moments, Shingo fell asleep with a contented smile on his lips.

Shingo opened his eyes slowly. Apparently, the van had stopped. He could hear giggling from the front of the van but nothing else. Out of habit, Shingo rubbed his face as he sat up.
And that was when he realized.
He looked at his hand. It was covered by a white, foamy substance.
Whipped Cream.
He looked up and turned towards the window. Eito was running towards their agency building - as if they were trying to escape a certain gorilla’s wrath.
Slowly, Shingo stood up. He wiped off his face and hands with a towel before slowly making his way to the building.
They are so going to pay.
And that was the day Murakami Shingo almost killed Kanjani8.
