Haha I love how South Park makes fun of religion.
This week has been pretty eventful. Not exactly *wonderful*, but nonetheless interesting.
I worked the whole weekend....Saturday and Sunday I worked 8-6 and then Monday I worked 1-6. Unfortunately, since Katie quit, I had no one else on the register with me and didn't end up leaving until 6:30. It sucked.
Tuesday I had a doctors appointment during work...so what I did was go in at 8, leave at 9:30, then I was back by 11. While at the doctors I got some interesting news...
- First they completed the mundane task of taking down my height and weight. Apparently I'm both the same height and weight I was at my last check up and the check up before.
- I was told I was "well proportioned" :::giggles to self::
- My doctor told me that she wanted me to see a dermatologist for my skin problems. Unfortunately getting an appointment will take 3-4 months because most of the normal dermatologists are switching over to "anesthetic dermatology" which uses lasers and shit to clear up the skin....and that kind of treatment isn't covered by insurance, so the treatment is pure profit on their part.
- Because of my acne and period problems, my doctor has decided to put me on The Pill. She's also sending me to a gynocologist because she thinks there might be a cyst growing on my uterus or something. Meh.
- And finally, thanks to all my freaking problems I'm now gonna be drugged up like its my job -- Zyrtec (for allergies), Zoloft (for depression), some acne medication that makes the skin sensitive (I won't even be able to go out in the sun without sunblock ever), The Pill (acne & period....wonderful) and my iron supplement thing to help keep my blood healthy. Wow, I suck lol.
In addition to my doctors appointment, Shamus finally got hired at the farmstand! Yay! I'm actually looking forward to work now because I'll be spending time with him while I work. Fucking awesome :)
After work I went driving with Dad and rescheduled my road lesson I was supposed to have today. I also scheduled my road test...I get my license August 28th. Following my driving session with "daddy dearest" (note the sarcasm) I went to my voice lesson as usual. Lisa started me on this new Italian piece called "La Scala" I believe, in addition to "The Willow Song." And I love Italian so this is perfect :)
Manca solle cita (when any candle flame)
Piu de ll'usato (once starts to flicker)
Ancorche s'agiti (only a gentle breath)
Conglieve fiato (makes it burn quicker)
Fa ce che palpita (tho' it was wavering)
Presso almorir (ready to die)
I LOVE rolling my tongue on the "presso almorir"...I feel so cultured now haha.
As for my car, we're still waiting for my insurance agent to return from vacation. She's supposed to return within the next few days, so we can get all that squared away and finally register the car in my name. Yippee!
Work tomorrow 1-6....hopefully hanging out with Shamus afterwards. Yayyyyy :)
Goodnight everyone.
