Stealing a page from the various seasonal celebratory type communities out there (spring_with_xan, summer_of_spike, etc.) we've decided that it would be fun do some rejoicing and celebrating of our own. We'd love you to share anything about your favorites (real life folk and/or  fictional characters of color from any and all media sources). You're welcome to contribute anything

This = fantastic idea. Now I just need to decide who to do... (my first thought was "Mickey Smith from Doctor Who, of course!" but there are at least a dozen characters from smaller fandoms that are tempting me).
