I'm going to my friend's wedding tomorrow. I was hopelessly shopping for something formal-ish that fits me, coming up with the most uncomfortable crap that I hated, when I happened across another couple going to the same wedding that I know. Actually, I am probably not reacting adequately to what a weird coincidence this was; the statistical odds of them being at the same section of that same store in that same town are pretty tiny. But I was very thankful to have them around to help me pick out something, as they completely changed my direction and got me something that is totally "not my style" (which for me simply means that I've never worn anything like it, since I don't exactly have a style), but it's totally comfortable, which is perfect. And it's not too formal, which is great too.
So anyway, I feel a lot better about the wedding now. Oh and since someone might be asking what I got... I dunno, some light button-down summerish shirt and some linen pants and some leather sandals, which is ... well, I think I may have owned a pair of sandals when I was 7 or 8, and never again since then. Same with flip-flops.
