Korean idols who can blend in as locals in Malaysia

May 20, 2011 22:41

I decided to make an entry about Korean idols who can blend in as locals. This has been in my head for a while so I decided to post. Here goes.

#1 Lee Ki Seop U-Kiss

I seriously think he can blend in as a Malay or Chinese. If not, it would be either natives of Sarawak or Sabah. I saw a lookalike once when I was having breakfast with my family somewhere in Mutiara Damansara. I could've sworn it was him. He even had the Ki Seop hair (refer picture).

#2 Heo Ga Yoon 4Minute

When I first saw Ga Yoon, she looked like what some Malay female celebs would look like with blonde hair (she was blonde at that time). If I don't know who she is, I can bet that I will call her 'kakak' (older sister in Malay) and would speak Malay to her. Like Ki Seop, she can be mistaken for a Chinese or Sabah and Sarawak native. Or maybe Thai.

Note: Obviously she doesn't look Malay here but try looking at her other pictures.

#3 Im Seu Long 2AM

I began to notice him in the MV I Did Wrong. With his tanned complexion, he can be mistaken as Malay, Sabahan, Sarawakian and maybe Thai and Phillipino.

Disclaimer: This is solely based on my observation and opinion only. No racial sentiment intended.

PS: Youth Camp in another 5 days. Can't wait. Hope it will turn out well.
