A bundle of a few stories
Bundle # 1 : PERSAK oh PERSAK
H-Coy won EOQ (running, kayaking, cycling, running again) for PERSAK 2009. It happened to be the first EOQ that's ever carried out in PERSAK and they won (for the first time as well)!!!! Congrats H-Coy! They didn't do well for Jalan Lasak (running around the whole UiTM) though. It's okay. There's always next year. I think they did pretty well. Thanks to PERSAK, I completely forgotten that February 14 was Valentine's Day. I only remembered that it was PERSAK competiton day. I didn't make it to EOQ events but I made it for Jalan Lasak. I went back to my college on Saturday since I don't want to miss Jalan Lasak. On Sunday, I walked from my college to Padang Kawad and met up with Y who participated in Jalan Lasak. He saw me and smiled. I waved at him and he proceeded to salute. I saluted back and said, "Sorry, I forgot that you're a commander." He just giggled and went off. Before that, he managed to point to the direction where H-Coy supporters were. I met up with other commanders like Fazli, Bobo and Megat and some of my juniors. We talked a bit, especially with Fazli.
Me : Commander, is Augustine coming?
Fazli : I'm not sure. You finished you co already so no need to call us commander.
Me : I'm respecting your uniform! Besides, I'm a musician now.
Fazli : What? Cak Lempong? Gamelan?
Me : No, I'm joining Music Commercial.
We watched the participants warmed up for the competition. And, they had to play Akon's song (Dangerous to be exact) and I was like, "Why Akon? Don't thay have other songs?" Yes, I have a thing against Akon. It drives me nuts that his songs keeps playing on the radio and I lost count at 7. I proceeded to watch Seung Ri's Strong Baby music video on my media player (thank you Cornetto and Dafi). I was kinda jealous to see H-Coy PERSAK t-shirts (it looked so nice!!!!!!!). During my time, it's white t-shirt for Jalan Lasak and Mawar t-shirt for Obstacle Course. Thanks for the idea, Y. Realistically, not sarcastically dude. Then, we saw the participants for H-Coy were released for the competition. Needless to day, we cheered like mad. After that, we made our way to the stadium as that was the finish line. While waiting for them, we talked, studied and ate M&Ms that I brought. The H-Coy finally arrived. However, one of the participants Miza fainted and she looked really weak. Fifah almost fainted. I was worried about them because I've known them since Kuantan, especially Miza because Miza was my levelmate at that time. Miza was sent to the Health Centre (I heard from the sources that they didn't do anything to her, those creeps!) while Fifah stayed with us. The H-Coys proceeded to take pictures. Y invited me along despite finding out that I was a "musician". After that, one of the participants wanted M&Ms so I gave him some and Y was like, "I want some!" Another kid was trying to grab the bag but I hold on to it like it was my life. Everybody laughed and Y was like, "Stop it lah! Dia merajuk kang!" After that, everybody returned to their respective colleges. Y managed to ask me something.
Y : Yana, how are you going to go back?
Me : Uh... walk.
Y : Oh, where are you staying?
Me : Uh.. Kenanga.
Y : Thanks for coming.
Me : Anytime, except after 11 pm, weekends and breaks.
One thing about Y, he seems to giggled whenever I opened my mouth. Am I that funny? Oh well, if I decided to become a stand-up comedian, I'm 100 % sure that he will laugh at my jokes no matter how lame they are. Like Safwan, I tend to laugh at ALL of his jokes.
Bundle # 2 : Thank you for losing my concentration and momentum
I was doing my tutorials in the library. I was so engrossed with it until a familiar face popped out of nowhere and was like, "Are you having a test tomorrow?" Dang! There goes my concentration. Thanks a lot Y. Since he reminded me about a test so I studied for it instead. Then, he asked me a few things.
Y : Are you stil driving?
Me : Uhh.. only when I want to go home. I don't really drive now since I'm staying in college.
Y : Oh, which college?
Me : Kenanga.
Y : Oh, how did you get it?
Me : I took your advice, appeal.
Y : Oh, I see.
This conversation took place before PERSAK. Thank you Y, for making me lost my concentration and momentum to do my tutorials.
Bundle # 3 : Strong Baby and other addictive music + a JPK dude who looks like SHINee Minho
I am currently addicted to Seung Ri's Strong Baby. As you guys know, Seung Ri happens to be my favourite Big Bang member next to TOP and Tae Yang. He also has another solo which is 'Next Day' which is nice. While 'Next Day' brings out a mellow and soothing melody, 'Strong Baby' brings out a seductive, upbeat melody which shows Seung Ri's maturity. Like he sang, "All grown up". He looks sexy in the MV with his suit and abs. I have no idea that he has abs (nosebleed alert). I like the way he dance, very smart and seriously, how many people can actually dance in a suit and looks calm and collected (and suave)? Not many, right? It kinda reminds me of Seo In Young who danced to 'Cinderella' in heels during rehearsals! Do you know hard it is to dance with heels???? She definitely proves that practice makes perfect.
My roommate, Suki introduced me to SS501's Song Calling for You. The song is pretty nice and cute. When you paired it up with an even cuter MV and simple and funny dance steps, you'll definitely be a hit. That's SS501's Song Calling for You. I felt sorry for them because in the MV, they were being rejected by a girl and they were like crying and acting cute. Suki told me that their dance steps were derived from Shin Chan's. Interesting. I have to post a review about this.
Last Thursday, Suki and I had to attend a program organized by the college. We expected it to be boring but it was actually pretty cool. The speaker was fun to be around as he tend to spice up his talk with jokes. After that, the college committe members introduced themselves. The boys are pretty good looking and most of them are from Sports Science and Recreation Faculty. That explains the well built body shapes. And, no I was not playing Exploring the Human Body. The president is a cool guy from Mass Communication. The girls are nice. I kinda felt sorry for them that some of them received not so nice remarks from certain people. One girl behind Suki and I was like, "I don't like her. Eww!" The committee members were nice and one guy even took pictures of us when we were thinking about what internal club to join. We had to join at least one. Then, we decided to join Arts and Culture Club. Hopefully, it won't be traditional dance all the way. Reminds me of FESMEL 09. The song choices for singing and dancing contest made me laugh. Hello, not everybody can pull of Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey's songs without pitching problems. Kenanga is going to have Kenanga Idol soon. My advice to them : Allow people to choose the songs that they want. Okay, this is kinda off-topic. Oh well, I noticed that one of the committee members looked like Minho from SHINee. Seriously, I was like, "Is that Minho?" He's cute, just like Minho only darker and more matured and his nose is different. I'm predicting that I am going to call him Minho accidentally.
