Wow. So it's been a while since I've written in a journal. Not really my fault though because livejournal locked me out of my other account...(ok so it really wasn't their fault it was mine because I forgot the password since I had it checked on 'remember me' and the e-mail adress I had used for that account I forgot that password too...why so many passwords!? Usually I just use the same password for everything but this time I had to go and be all faaancy) Anyway, here I am. I doubt anyone still has my friended but maybe a friend will stop by.
So today is St. Patrick's day. I've noticed that all I really know about this day is it's an excuse to pinch people if they aren't wearing green and to get really drunk and pretend like you are Irish even if you aren't. So I thought I would enlighten myself and anyone who is reading this on St. Patricks day to what it really means. All I got out of it though was "patron saint of Ireland" and "did something with snakes". Here is wiki on it if you are interested...I might go back and read when I am bored. At first glance...not all that interesting.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Patrick Anyway, back to the fun part of saint patrick's day, the drinking and pinching. Green is not my favorite color, but I've never noticed how many shades of it there is. When people are all dressed in green mostly you start to realize how many different shades there are. I guess green is just not a color that usually catches my eye. I am more in tune with other colors, so green never gets noticed I suppose. However, the people who aren't waering green have a vice. Green, no matter which shade, is really hard to miss. So I've been doing 'mental pinches' to anyone I can find who isn't wearing green. This is how it works:
so you see a random person walking towards you down the path, you give them a once over and realize that there is no green on this person, first you yell at them for not wearing green and being 'unpatrotic' or whatever to the day, then you give them a hard mental pinch. Usually the pinch is just me yelling "PINCHED" in my mind, but strangely...it is satisfying. I did realized a flaw in this system however...what if they are actually wearing green..it's just somewhere you don't want to see or know about? Then I realized that mental pinches don't really hurt anyone and they are really fun to do anyway...so why bother? So I pinch away!
Everyday should have a color scheme/pinchy consequence. That way, everyone could enjoy mental pinching eachother...cause real pinching hurts. So if you aren't wearing green, MENTAL PINCH!
