Hi, all! I'm deep in writing mode at the moment, and while it's not the OMG EVERYTHING IS AWESOME kind of writing mode, it's still lovely. It's a bit weird that the music that's working for me right now is switching between Ke$ha and Spring Awakening, but I'll take it.
A couple quick notes:
1. More people are getting into Pottermore! I'm ShieldWolfsbane85, if you're one of those sorts. Feel free to comment with your username even if we're already friends; I didn't add notes to everyone's names, so I might have you friended and not know it.
2. I keep meaning to link and keep forgetting: helpsomalia is a fan charity auction to help address the hunger crisis in East Africa. They just extended the auction closing date to October 8th, so there's still time to get involved! I can't right now for a lot of reasons, but if anyone's taking part, let me know and I'll make sure to link your individual thread(s).
3. Sean Maher came out! ♥
Edit: Actually, thinking about it, I am 100% unsurprised that Sean Maher's gay. And not because of all the queer roles he's played. No, it was probably that he would mention his kids on Twitter, but not any spouse/second parent. That's pretty much Hollywood for "I'm gay and proud, but I'm not talking about it". (And Jewel totally had that straight-best-friend vibe going on in their tweets. :D)
(Of course, not having a second parent isn't always a clue - look at January Jones - but it felt like here, you know?)
