That awkward moment when a book's depressing and you sleep for 5+ hours because you're so miserable.

Regarding the title, I'm reading Stiff, and it's super fascinating. Unfortunately, my depression's been strongly triggered by death-related thoughts lately, so I hit a major enough slump earlier in the evening that I ended up passing out for half the night. Oops. I'll have to read quickly.

In cheerier news, I watched the Duran Duran-David Lynch concert. Except I was about fifteen minutes late for it, and I missed Gerard's performance. I did see him at the end when people were taking bows, and when I saw he was wearing a suit, I made ridiculous noises that my sister heard downstairs. I'm hoping he duetted on "Wild Boys" or something (like, a lot) and there'll be clips soon.

In even cheerier news, I got some quality nephew time earlier. He's breaking teeth, so he was miserable for part of the day, but he got it out of his system and passed out when the family went out to eat. Funny how that works.

(This has been a test of shorter blog posts. It's working out for me so far, I think.)

Edit: Thanks to
jackandahat: "Planet Earth"! BEST EVER OMG ♥__♥
