The weather here sucks; we're getting all kinds of snow! But we're an eight-hour drive from Vegas, so it's likely it's quite nice down there. Probably whatever weather you're getting in Southern California's what you'll be getting in Vegas, minus humidity and plus a little extra heat.

(I think Korea, Maryland, DC, and Southern California's not bad in terms of traveling! I've only had a little more than that myself, and a large portion of that came before I was six years old.)

Drunk is the way to be in Vegas! And depending on your plans, if it does end up raining while you're there (which isn't super common, so you might get lucky), it's very easy to spend a lot of time indoors, so it probably won't make much of a difference anyway!
