+ Signal boost: foresthouseeyes is an auction raising money for foresthouse - who I know of because of my frequent cleolinda readings - and her bad financial situation in terms of necessary eye surgery. I'm not auctioning anything, but I feel very strongly about helping anyone with medical assistance, especially because health care in the US is a complete joke, and I know how it feels to need something and not be able to afford it.
+ I'm on a big MCR kick. I WANT THE NEW ALBUM ALREADY WHYYYY DO I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER MONTH. In the meantime, I'm replaying The Black Parade (one of my all-time favorite albums, haters to the left), "Na Na Na" (see entry title), and "The Only Hope For Me Is You" over and over again. When I'm not listening to great fanmixes, that is. And the score to The Social Network is fantastic writing music.
+ In other news, I want SPN to win the TV Guide cover so bad. I've been voting non-stop, even while finishing up my werewolfbigbang (but I submitted the final draft!).
+ Merlin (Level 2: Awesome!)
I don't know what it is about Merlin these past few episodes, but I'm totally enjoying it! I think it says something when most of the reaction posts included something along the lines of "OMG A CHARACTER OF COLOR WHO WASN'T GWEN WHO LIVED". Which I was also very happy about! I'm glad he'll be around to be an awesome swordsman and blacksmith for a while! Don't kill him, show!
But there was so much that was great about this episode! Gwen tried to defend herself with a poker! Morgana was in armor again, and she and Merlin talked about their feelings, even if it was a lot of *glare* *growl* *snark*! (She also exchanged some ~looks with Morgause, which I never disapprove of.) Gwen and Arthur were cute! Arthur and Merlin had comedic moments that were well-timed and actually funny! AND HOW DOES NO ONE KNOW ABOUT MERLIN'S MAGIC YET JFC. (Sorry. Tangent.)
So yes. This episode was a good example of the show at its best. Keep it up!
