Please check out my friends band:
Duke. You can download two songs, Save Me! and Permintaan. They're both excellent songs, but I prefer Permintaan coz it's a truly touching song, with strong vocals and the hook is just heavenly. Permintaan means a wish in Malay...and Joe wrote it while his mum was in the hospital. The night the song was finished, recording and mixing and all, he went home so he could let his mum hear it the next day...but she died that night. How heartbreaking right? You ask God not to take someone you love away from you, basically it's your last wish to Him. And the next day, she leaves. Sometimes life is unfair like that. Things will happen in an instant. Things that we question why but will never truly know the answer to, but hey...everything happens for a reason right? It's a lesson to cherish the ones you love, and to hold them close to your heart. Coz you never know when they're gonna leave your side.
By the way, the songs start fading out quite early, I don't know why but I'll ask the guys why. Nevertheless...enjoy the songs yo!:)
Okay here's an update: The songs on the site are edited radio versions, so if you wanna check out the full versions of the songs (which I suggest you do because the early fades in the in edited versions are a bummer), click the following links:

Save Me They're both a whole lot longer than the edited versions and sound much better. I've uploaded them for your convenience to Dropload and it will only be available for 10 days starting from today. For those who see this after 10 days, leave me a message and I'll send you the files.:)

Last night, after Is and I went to mamak in Kelana Jaya with some friends, we chilled at Pantai Panorama with Dilip, Kit, Eugene and Janyse. Kit couldn't stop tripping on me and my cousin, saying how much we're alike, how we talk and laugh the same, act the same, etc. I told him he should've my hair before I died it brown a few days ago...if Nyse and I combined our hair you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference! And when Kit mentioned we could be twins, it dawned on me that yea, we are more like sisterly twins than cousins. Lol. I love Nyse. She's the sweetest thing, and I'll have her as a sister any day.:)
