Good news, everyone!
The Finnish government has approved my application for a residency permit, which means some cashflow issues aside, I'm definitely showing up for the August Finnish immersion class.
Also: I'm paying about 250 Euros a month for a flat shared with one other person, and water, electricity, sauna and Internet are rolled in for free. God damn, you socialist Nordics. I could get used to this.
