I think I'm going to have to write that Inception/Laundry crossover

One-shot, probably, not exactly as epic as my main fic timeline, but I'm going to have to do it, or it won't leave me alone and if it won't leave me alone I can't get my brain kickstarted on the gen fic timeline like I'm supposed to write.

Actually they aren't going to wander through the minds of Laundry employees. Rather, it's a what-if-Eames-was-a-Laundry-civil-servant.

My crossover concept pitch on RPGnet's crossover thread is thus:

The Laundry gets involved in a rash of mysterious comas, and they dispatch a field agent and combat epistemologist to investigate. (You may refer to him as Mr. Eames - his main claim to fame is attempting to stage a production of The King In Yellow while studying at RADA. Fortunately the Laundry caught up to his used-book acquisition before he turned a regional theater and its audience into temporary hosts for entities best not spoken of ( ... )
