chronicle of angst!

I don't even know, thoughts of a Fullmetal Alchemist/bandom AU keep haunting me. /o\ It started out with me thinking about the Elric brothers (and their angst/guilt complex), which was weird because I haven't read FMA for ages.

So, the Way brothers as the Elric brothers. They are smart kids, but in a desperate attempt to revive their mother grandmother Elena, Gerard loses his arm and leg, and Mikey loses his whole body (though Gerard manages to tie his soul into a metal armor suit). Insert MASSIVE guilt complex on Gerard's part. And then there's the wild adventures of the Way brothers, looking for a way to get Mikey's body back.

Frank Iero is their childhood friend slash Gerard's mechanic, who helps with Gerard's metal limbs and kicks him in the balls for being stupid (which happens a lot, because GUILT COMPLEX).

Colonel Pete Wentz is their boss and funds the Way brothers because he believes they have potential and is kind of a political jackass (on the outside) and also a lazy playboy (...on the outside?). ...Don't you love the idea of Pete Wentz setting things on fire with a snap of his fingers? Patrick is Riza (lolol) who keeps Pete in line and shoots him into doing his paperwork. Joe is Havoc. *squish* Andy is... Maes Hughes, of the Investigations Division? ;__;

I'm totally stumped on who should be the 7 Deadly Sins. Alicia as Lust, maybe? Other than that, I have no idea. Gabe as Envy, perhaps? Ryland as Pride?

Though to tell the truth, mainly I keep thinking about the parallel universe fiasco of Edward/Alphonse/Alfons Heiderich. So, like, Gerard drops into a parallel universe where he meets Michael Lee Rush - his brother Mikey's version in this world. Michael's brother (Gerard's version of this world) is dead. Gerard has no way of returning to his own world and Mikey. They live together and much awkwardness (and aaaangst) ensues. /o\ (...Man, I once read this epic Edward/Alphonse/Alfons fic back in the days. I really really want a Way version of that.)

whut, lolz, bandom
