Mother Ghost
I went to high school with Casey Hannan and we lived lives then that were parallel but distanced. AP Art, AP English, Pre-college summer programs at our art schools of choice between jr and sr years, barely spoke a word to one another.
Now we're both dating men named Joshua whose birthday is on July 4th. Okay, his is named Josh. I presume it is short for Joshua.
We have since realized that our pseudo rivalry in high school was ridiculous and we both missed out on a potentially excellent friendship. So it goes.
At some point we diverged and he put his focus on writing and now he has a book out called Mother Ghost, and I would love to read it because I love everything he writes even if I don't understand it all.
My birthday is coming up on November 9th, so if anyone is inclined, Casey's book would be a fantastic gift. =]
