Thats the scanner I've got. Now that Enzo is back from Mexico he might be able to figure out why it wasnt working with his computer, but if nothing else this method should work okay... and might even be easier if possibly not as crisp in line quality.
I love how easy it is to post images to tumblr, I don't have to go through a ton of hoops like I do on LJ, or worse FA. I do like NeoGeen's suggestion that I routinely repost the things that I've posted to tumbler over here on LJ and Dreamwidth.
Would that be a reasonable compromise or should I continue to look for another option? =]
That's a reasonable compromise. As long as I know to look, I can go look.
I hate the way tumblr stops conversation. All you can say is that you liked something or you linked it, but you can't talk about it with the person posting. It's like blogging with all the interaction stripped out, and it feels very cold, like someone slamming a door in your face. It boggles my mind that people like it so much. :P
I admit I hadn't looked at the commenting system (or lack thereof) at all really. The impression I've gotten at least is that they really want people to reblog things they like.
Either way, I don't see it being much trouble to repost them here every 5-10 pages or so for those who aren't interested in tumblr.
Huzzuh art! I'm glad to see it, even in the crazy roundabout way you have to get it in digital form (thank you for the effort!).
I also plan on using Tumblr as a daily sketch place (unused except to watch folks right now). You could also do what I plan on doing and dumping all images posted to tumblr here on LJ for the LJ-folks on a given day.
The commenting structure on Tumblr is ass. LJ is much better. The convenience on Tumblr is awesome.
