I met Mr. Bowie!

So not only was the Bowie show amazing, but I got to meet him as well! Long story short, my dad knows some people that were involved in the show and they managed to arrange for me to meet him. They took me into the back "green room" area and he came out to meet me. He was VERY friendly and open and talkative, very very sweet. He immediatly gave me a hug and kisses on the cheeks. He seemed to actually care a lot about his fans. We talked about music and how the show was, chit chatting about different things like rock shows and his family. He brought me a bag and shirt and signed everything for me, and we got pictures. It was nothing short of amazing. I told him how I'd been listening to his music since I was little and how it was helping me through my illness, and he said that meant a lot to him. I left completely glowing. He's definitely a wonderful man who cares a lot for his fans. And that was my Bowie meeting. Then I went to Underworld to say happy birthday to the lovely Renee and to show off my bragging rights. :)

So....this weekend is Stefan's going away gathering, and to scout around for rental houses. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
