Fandom Squee Round-up

Jul 15, 2012 21:33

As promised I have a fandom squee round-up!

• First I have a new promotional poster for The Hobbit. It's HUGE and VERY, VERY WIDE so I'm not even going to try to include a copy of it here. Go to the link for so much awesomeness. I seriously want a copy though I don't know where I would put it.

• Next, I have an interview with Timothy Hutton about the season premiere of Leverage! \o/ Which is tonight in the US!!! I loved last season (and how it ended) so I'm very much looking forward to this season.

- The show is moving again and now they are going to be in Portland. This should work for them since they've been filming in Portland. :)
- Nate is now serious about recovery and working on the future instead of dwelling on the past.
- Mark Shepard is coming back! Excellent news. I adore him on the show.
- They will be exploring Sophie's past some more. It's about time - she has the least amount of development.

• I also have two Once Upon a Time videos which are both made of awesome each in their own ways.

- A promo for season 2. They haven't started filming yet but that doesn't mean they don't know some of the characters they are introducing this season. The promo makes a new character VERY CLEAR (even though I don't think they've cast anyone as yet) so don't watch if you don't want to know. I like to know so I was happy to see this!

- And a Storybrooke dating video: The Singlebrooke Dating Service. Very funny! Jane Espenson knows how to write humor. With Snow and Charming and Regina and Whale and Emma and several other characters all taking about what they like in a mate and their idea of a perfect date. :D

• And last but certainly NOT least I have a clip from David Tennant's episode of Shakespeare Uncovered, a 6 episode series which has been airing on BBC Four. David's episode is the last one and airs this Tuesday, July 17. His episode, appropriately enough is all about Hamlet. (They focused on the histories and the tragedies for the series.) Since those of us not in the UK cannot see the clip they have on the website, here it is in all its glory:
