A Few Links and Batman Begins

Congratulations to all gay couples on the first day of same sex marriage in California! Here is a nice article with some good advice for those getting married. It was a lovely day four years ago when Massachusetts started same sex marriage and it's even better now that gay couples from all over the US can get married without leaving the country.

*sigh* So are we going to have to hear about Obama the Muslim terrorist straight through to the general election (and probably even after, assuming Obama wins)? And these are leading *Democrats* spouting this nonsense. This is why I avoid political news. It helps keep my blood pressure down.

In other news, I watched Batman Begins last night. Yes, I know, only three years after it's release, that's actually a bit quick for me. *g* I would consider this a good, solid superhero movie, but not a great one. While it was nice seeing Bruce Wayne become Batman, it did feel like most of the movie was training montages. I did enjoy Bale, Caine, and Freeman's performances, but Holmes did nothing for me. I just didn't believe that he cared for her, so the romantic subplot didn't work.
