TV Notes

Robert Carlyle has been busily filming for OUAT, apparently finishing his week at 5 am on Saturday and he's was back on as of 7 am this morning. In between, he tweeted! I have to say that the way he uses twitter works for me. I'm not interested in random tweets of what he had for lunch but informal interview sessions I like. As with the last one, this session has been transcribed on Once Upon a Fan. Oh, and it didn't make it into the transcript but he will be available for more questions on Wednesday. :)

There was no Once Upon last night on account of the Oscars. Since I'm with Robert and have no interest in watching them, I only saw two quick bits as we flipped past them while changing channels. One minute of Jennifer Lopez, who I didn't even recognize and one minute of the actress who won best supporting actress. All I have to say is dresses so tight you can't even move in them are not very sexy. Even when they barely cover you.

Speaking of Once Upon, some new episode info and scheduling has just been released and it looks like the two episodes coming up which I am MOST INTERESTED in watching are going to be aired while I am on vacation! Damn. The first one is airing on Easter, and I could watch it since I'll be visiting my parents and they do have a tv, but watching shows I love with my parents is NOT SO FUN. They like to chat while watching tv and and make commentary. However, I will have internet access all that week and I don't think I can not see spoilers even if I'm not on that much. *sigh* Yes, I know, my life is so horrible that I might need to watch a show with my parents. While on vacation. I will survive. *g* At least this show isn't a crime show. They really didn't get Body of Proof last year.

Maybe I should post about some other shows I've been watching?

The River

I tried this show. I saw the pilot and and part of the next episode but I decided that it's too much horror for me. I can enjoy spooky or dark but they were definitely going for scary. When I started fast forwarding through more than I watched I knew it was time to delete.

Person of Interest

I can't say I LOVE this show but I do like it. The characters haven't grabbed me yet and it's a male-heavy cast; however, I'm enjoying the episodes and I'm going to give it a chance to grow on me.

Castle

Oh, show. I was so on board with this show at the end of last season and it feels as though it has completely lost its way. I loved what it was in the first couple seasons with the Beckett/Castle relationship on the back burner and a nice balance of fun cases, chemistry, family, and so on, but they decided they needed to have a BIG, DRAMATIC moment. And then they decided to ignore the moment like it never happened except now every time Beckett and Castle even talk it seems weighted down. I'm still watching but I'm back to being a very casual viewer.

White Collar

I really hope they are not going for another rift between Peter and Neal. The first one I liked - it worked for me - maybe because it seemed to be between them. However, bringing in someone else to rip them apart I don't like. I guess I'll find out soon enough whether they are going there since I think the season finale is this week! One thing I am happy about is that Sara is back. I think they're cute together and I liked her coming over to talk to Neal. I love when a show has the characters actually communicate like adults instead of contriving ever more ways for them to never talk.
